Tensions in South Ossetia and Russia

The tensions are going up between Georgia and South Ossetia (a separatist region with a major russian population inside borders of Georgia).
In last days there have been a fire fight at a georgian checkpoint and shells on town Tskhinvali. Georgia, pro NATO, is trying to retake the control of 2 breakaway separatist provinces and for this, is probably, that it has receiving reinforces (by shells and logistical apparatus) by NATO STates.
Abkhazia and South Ossetia, instead, are receiving important reinforces by Russia. But, it’s important to say that Russia army is still fighting with Chechnya separatists.
