India: 73 policemen forces killed by worst maoist Naxal rebels attack in Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district

In the worst Maoist attack, at least 73 CRPF and district force personnel were today killed when a large group of Naxals ambushed them in the thick Mukrana forests of Chhattisgarh’s Dantewada district.

While 72 of those killed were CRPF personnel including a deputy and an assitant commandant, one was a head constable of the district police force.

Militanti islamici armati con pistole, granate e macchine-bombe suicide ieri hanno preso come obiettivo il consolato USA in Pakistan nella capitale del nord-ovest e colpito durante in campagna politica, uccidendo 46 persone.

Gli attacchi in breve successione sono stati tra i piu’ mortali finora questo anno nel Pakistan dotato di arma nucleare, dove l’insicurezza ha aumentato le preoccupazioni negli Stati Uniti a Washington che ha intensificato la lotta in Afghanistan e contro al-Qaeda.

I pakistani talebani del (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan TTP) hanno reclamato la responsabilità per l’attacco al consolato, dicendo di aver vendicato l’attacco del drone USA il cui obiettivo erano i massimi responsabili militanti nel confine pakistano con l’Afghanistan, e minacciato ulteriori assalti agli americani.

Ingushetia: A kamikaze attack kills 2 policemen, exploded also a car

New attack in Russia. A kamikaze exploded himself in Caucasic Republic of Ingushetia, causing two dead and some wounded, and the attack has been followed - shortly after - by an explosion of a car.

Victims are policemen, that stopped the kamikaze while he was trying to enter in police station of Karakulak, almost 20 km from the capital Magas.

Few days ago twice attack in Moscow (40 dead), double blitz in Dagestan town of Kizlyar of Wednesday (12 killed) and also bombs on rails against a freight train, without victims.

Iraq: Three explosions rocked central Baghdad, hit Egypt, Iran, Spain and Germany embassies, caused 30 dead and more than 170 wounded

Three explosions have struck central Baghdad within minutes of one another, killing at least 30 and wounding up to 170.

Saad Kamel, a Baghdad correspondent for RFE/RL’s Radio Free Iraq, reported that the largest explosion occurred near the Iranian Embassy and the Real Estate Bank building, both near Baghdad’s heavily guarded Green Zone.

“The bank building is severely damaged. Tens of employees [and others] were killed or injured, and dozens of cars were damaged or burned there,” Kamel said.

Abkhazia expects that Bolivia and Ecuador will recognize its independence in near future

Independence of Abkhazia “can be recognized by Bolivia and Ecuador in near future “, the republic’s Foreign Minister Maxim Gvindzhia said Wednesday in an interview with Russian journalist. He heads the Abkhaz delegation which has been to Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia and Ecuador.

“We expect the next recognition of independence of Abkhazia from Bolivia and Ecuador because the attitude to our country is positive there”, the head of the Foreign Ministry said. “Sometimes Abkhazia is compared to the problems of separatists in Bolivia, but this country’s leadership has thoroughly studied this issue and understands that such a comparison is unacceptable in case with Abkhazia”, he specified.
