Iraq: attacked 6 checkpoints between Baghdad and Mosul, killed 15 people
Gunmen attacked at least six checkpoints in the Iraqi capital on Monday, killing seven Iraqi troops and policemen, while bombs planted at three others injured several more, an Interior Ministry source said, according to Reuters.
In separate incidents, a roadside bomb targeting a police patrol killed two people in south Baghdad while bombs outside policemen’s homes in the western province of Anbar and a suicide car bomb in the northern city of Mosul killed another six.
