At least 8 people were injured as violent clashes broke out in the early morning of Friday in Mansoura City in Aden when tribesmen looted the city’s Local Authority building.
Eyewitnesses said that the militants were seen carrying machineguns and rocket-propelled grenades (RPG).
The tribesmen came from the southern governorate of Shabwah, led by Sheikh Hassan Banan al-Awlaki, who declared his support to the Southern Secessionist Movement years ago.

Three policemen were killed when a group of Taliban suicide bombers attacked the headquarters of Samkani district in southeastern Paktia province on Thursday, officials said.
Another two policemen were injured after they started a gun-battle with the attackers. Three attackers blew themselves up at the gate of the government building and the two others who tried to enter the compound were shot dead by police, governor’s spokesman, Rohullah Samoon, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The Democratic Karen Buddhist Army’s (DKBA) Brigade 5 reached a ceasefire agreement with a Burmese government delegation on Thursday, said the DKBA Brigade 5 leader, Brig-Gen Saw Lah Pwe.
Saw Lah Pwe told The Irrawaddy on Friday that he signed a ceasefire agreement with a Burmese delegation on Thursday. He said that fighting had stopped and some government troops that previously were deployed on the frontlines had begun to withdraw from areas controlled by DKBA Brigade 5.

According to reports received from Erigavo fighting broke out between Somaliland army and militia group that tried to create inter clan fighting in the city this afternoon.
Khalid Ahmed resident of Erigavo city confirm to Somalilandpress that Somaliland army clashed with militia group that managed to come inside the city last three days without being noticed in order to distable the peace in the city.

Today on November, 3, 2011, the gallant forces of South Sudan Liberation Movement/Army (SSLM/A) captured Nhialdiew (35 km from Bentiu town) after battling 5,000 SPLA forces for the last three days.
The town is completely liberated and 125 SPLA soldiers, with one Colonel and five Captains, voluntarily joined the SSLA. Around 50 SPLA soldiers have been killed and thirty wounded. The wounded SPLA soldiers are under the custody of the SSLA and are being accorded the protection of international laws of war which obligate the SSLA to treat war prisoners humanely.
