Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility for yesterday’s series attacks in Iraq that killed at least 42, in a statement of its main organization in the country, the Islamic State of Iraq, posted on a jihadist website.
Attacks against security forces, that hit many cities in six different provinces, were an answer, the text reads, “torture and murders” of Sunnis.
