Scotland is going to secede from England in coming years and to organize a referendum on the issue. If succeeded, Edinburgh will try enter the NATO as a separate member state.
Scottish authorities hope to establish through NATO good relations with Nordic countries, like Norway and Denmark. And they will need to protect the Arctic territory from Russia’s claims, reports a Russian KGB TV channel “Dozhd (Rain)”.
Scottish nationalists, led by Alex Salmond, aim to break away from England, the KGB enthusiastically reports.
The issue of referendum started a long time ago. And in London, they believe it will be a failure, since many people are just scared by the idea of Scottish independence.
