Intense fighting broke out between Puntland Security Forces and militants loyal to al-Shabaab in Sugurre Village, Bari Province leaving 11 people dead and 7 others are recovering, some from life threatening injuries.
A rescue vehicle belonging to Puntland’ s security agents was bombed by the militia. Five people were reported dead at the scene and two agents died on their way to the Bosaso Hospital.
Al-Shabaab confirmed the attack via their twitter handle. They tweeted that they attacked a military base outside of Bosaso and killed 30 soldiers while wounding over a dozen more.

With increased fighting in and around Damascus in recent weeks, Syrian activists have posted a video that calls on residents of the capital to prepare for what they say is a looming collapse of President Bashar Assad’s regime.
The YouTube video, called “Zero Hour, Your Final Chance,” promises an imminent battle in Damascus aimed at ousting Assad. It is filled with instructions on what to do to prepare for and survive such a battle.
The video calls for mass civil disobedience, general strikes and an intense psychological campaign to pressure army troops to abandon their posts and join the rebels.

Puntland government forces repelled an overnight attack by al-Shabaab terrorist group near Galgala Mountains.
Around 11:00pm local time Tuesday, a group of heavily armed al-Shabaab terrorists attacked Puntland Defense Force units stationed at the frontlines near Galgala Mountains.
The terrorists attacked from different directions and Puntland forces repelled the attackers.

A joing afghan army and of International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) unit yesterday has conducted an operation in Kunar easter afghan province that lead to the killing of taliban leader Mohammed Yar Gul and two of his men. Isaf referred it in Kabul.

The Malian government and two rebel groups have agreed to respect the country’s “national unity”, after holding their first talks to try and end a criss that has seen the west African country effectively split in two.
Delegations from the government, the Islamist Ansar Dine and the Tuareg Azawad National Liberation Movement (known by its French acronym, MNLA) agreed “on the respect for Mali’s national unity and territorial integrity”, and “on the rejection of any form of extremism and terrorism” they said in a statement after the talks in Burkina Faso.
