Syria: Clashes between rebels and Syrian army around a Aleppo prison
According to reports, there’s been a new clash between the Syrian rebels and the pro government Syrian army in the flashpoint of the northern city of Aleppo around a prison. The prison is holding around 4,000 inmates. Activists have revealed that, using air raids and tank shells government forces have counter-attacked the rebels.
In the northern city of Aleppo, the rebels have reportedly detonated car bombs in the vicinity of the walls of the prison on Wednesday morning. Government sources claim that they have fought back in response to these bomb fights.
