Five members of the Tunisian National Guard Forces were killed on Wednesday during clashes with militants thought to be affiliated to Jihadists in the mountainous area south of the capital Tunis.
The clashes took place in Sidi Ali Belaoun village in Sidi Bouzid governorate, Tunisia’s arid heartland.
There are conflicting reports about the exact casualties, as some media put the death toll higher at seven, but the state TV said at least three were killed.

Ogaden National Liberation Front “ONLF,” official have claimed that their fighters attacked on Kebridahar town Airport on last week.
Our aim for this attack was to disrupt the visiting delegation in Ogaden and send a clear message to the puppet administration that serves only the colonial agendas in our people and land. The official said to Ogadentoday Press on the phone.

A senior rebel commander in southern Syria was killed in fighting with government troops in the town of Tafas on Monday, sources on both sides.
Lieutenant Colonel Yasser Abbud, “leader of the Fallujah-Houran brigade… was killed fighting against regime troops in Tafas”, a spokesman for the rebel Military Council in the southern province of Daraa said.

A military italian patrol has been attacked with shots of light weapons, mortars and rocket launchers near Shindand, in Afghanistan: the fire fight lasted almost half an hour.
No wounded between italians. Contingent command sources referred it. The attack occurred in the afternoon, at 3:30pm local hour (13 in Italy), at 5 kilometers at south of advanced operative base in Shindand, in the west of Afghanistan.
