Syria: Government forces gain more ground against militants near Homs
The Syrian army continues to gain more ground in its fight against foreign-backed militants in several areas across the country.
On Thursday, the Syrian army regained full control of Jabal Maheen al-Kabir area in the eastern countryside of Homs, following clashes with foreign-backed militants.
The army destroyed large caches of weapons and ammunitions used by the militants in the region.
On the same day, the army managed to restore security in the northeastern city of Qamishli.
