Fighting broke this morning in Gal-gala mountains, an area not so far from Puntland’s port city of Bossasso, between Puntland armed forces and al-Shabaab militants in Gal-gala.
It was early morning when as reported to Raxanreeb online al-Shabaab fighters in Gal-gala mountains attacked Puntland security forces in Gal-gala from three sides following an exchange of heavy gunfire and other heavy weapons.
This fight caused death and injury casualties though it’s not yet clear the exact number of these casualties.
