United Baloch Army (UBA) - a separatist militant outfit in Balochistan - has claimed responsibility of deadly terrorist attack in the Sabzi Mandi area of the capital city that killed at least 24 people and wounded more than 115.
Speaking to media representatives over telephone, spokesman for UBA Mureed Baloch said the rebel Baloch group has carried out the attack in retaliation to military’s ongoing operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district.

Indian government forces engaged suspected rebels in a fierce gunbattle overnight that left two rebels dead along with an Indian soldier and two police officers in the disputed Himalayan region of Kashmir, officials said Tuesday.
The fighting erupted Monday night after army soldier and police began searching for suspected militants in Zumreshi village, about 120 kilometers northwest of Srinagar, Army spokesman Lt. Col. Nitin Narahar Joshi said.

As many as 30 suspected militants who attacked trains in Balochistan, were killed by Frontier Corps (FC) during a search operation in mountainous area of Juhan, in Kalat region, about 145-kilometer outside Quetta, on Monday.
FC Balochistan spokesperson Khan Wasay said FC targeted suspected hideouts of Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Republican Army (BRA) in mountainous area of Kalat region.

Israeli warplanes attacked several sites in the Gaza Strip Sunday, sources on both sides said, hours after a rocket from the besieged Palestinian enclave hit Israel.
Palestinian medical and security sources said five sites in northern and southern Gaza were hit, including training camps for the militant Islamic Jihad and Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing.
