Ukrainian government warplanes on Monday bombed the illegal armed groups that had seized Donetsk airport and refused to surrender.
“At 1300 the terrorists who had illegally penetrated onto the territory of the airport in Donetsk were issued an ultimatum for them to lay down their arms and surrender to the counterterrorist operation forces. It has been reported that if the demands were not satisfied the Ukrainian military would take the military option to liberate the airport,” Vladyslav Selezniov, spokesman for the anti-terrorist operation, said on Facebook.

Tuareg separatist groups in Mali on Friday accepted a ceasefire agreement with the government following clashes this week that threatened to plunged the country back into war.
The agreement was reached following a meeting between the chairman of the African Union and separatist groups in northern Mali to discuss a permanent truce and the resumption of talks between the rebels and the government in Bamako.

The Restoration Council of Shan State this week warned that it would “continue the armed struggle” to achieve its political aims if left with no other choice.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the 56th anniversary of Shan State People’s Resistance Day, the ethnic rebel group said a recent raid by Burmese government authorities on the RCSS’s liaison office in Kengtung had “badly affected the mutual trust that has so far been achieved between the two sides.”

At least 27 people were killed in an overnight raid by dozens of Al_Qaeda militants on Yemeni government buildings and military posts in Seyoun, the second largest city in the south-eastern Hadramout province.
“The gunmen targeted the main military posts, the local police headquarters and bank branches and briefly captured some buildings before they withdrew in the morning,” local officials said, Reuters reported.

A car bomb laden with explosive devices, rammed into the main entrance of the parliament compound on Saturday. Over 100 Members of Parliament were present at the ordinary parliamentary session when the unexpected blast rocked the compound. Although no legislators were killed, three MPs were reported have been injured and are suffering from critical wounds.
The Al-Qaeda linked Al-Shabaab terrorist group quickly claimed responsibility for the attack. Several of the terrorist insurgents stormed parliament almost immediately after the first blast, gunning down all security guards stationed at the main checkpoint outside. The first explosion was followed by a detonation of a suicide vest worn by one of the Islamist militants.
