Syria: 45 dead in clashes between Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) and Jabhat Al-Nusra jihadists in Deir Az-Zor
Forty-five people were killed on Sunday in Syria’s eastern Deir Az-Zor region in clashes between rival jihadist groups, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Monday.
The London-based monitoring group, which gets its information from an extensive network of contacts on the ground throughout country, reported that the fighting was between the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) and Jabhat Al-Nusra.
