The shooting at the Luhansk border guard unit continued as of 1030, the Ukrainian Border Guard Service has reported.
“The situation has not changed dramatically: the shooting continues. It has been going for seven hours without interruption,” Oleh Slobodian, the head of the agency’s press service, told Interfax-Ukraine.

Boko Haram attacked three villages in Borno State yesterday morning, leaving 42 people dead.
The invasion occurred in Kanari, Wazarde, and Gula villages located along Nigeria’s border with Cameroon, Vanguard reports.

At least 40 Syrian soldiers were killed on Saturday when rebels detonated explosives packed beneath an army base in Aleppo, activists and rebels said.
The Islamic Front, an umbrella rebel organisation, claimed responsibility for the bombing, though the claim could not be immediately verified.
