At least 20 soldiers assigned to the armed forces of the semi-autonomous region of Puntland have in the district of Gambadha voluntary surrendered to the Somaliland national army eastern region command based in Sool region.
General Ismael Shaqalle in a press statement released from his office today last night stated as follows:

Gaza Strip: At least 115 palestinians killed and 220 injured on 23rd day of Israeli aggression on Gaza
As the Israeli military aggression against Gaza Strip entered its twenty third day, at least 115 Palestinians, including children and women, were killed early Tuesday, and around 220 were injured, bringing the death toll to at least 1231 and around 6720 injury cases.
Rescue teams recovered the body of Niveen al-Far from under the rubble of her house in al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, which was shelled at dawn and claimed the lives of three other Palestinians.
China: Dozens killed and injured in terror attack in Xinjiang
Dozens of people were killed and injured in a “terrorist attack” in China’s far western Xinjiang region, home to the mainly Muslim Uighur minority, state media reported Tuesday.
A knife-wielding gang attacked a police station and government offices in Shache county early Monday, the official Xinhua news agency said citing local police, and “dozens of Uighur and Han civilians were killed or injured”.
