Yemen: 20 killed in clashes between Houthi rebels and government allies in the al-Jawf province
Fighting between rival Shiite and Sunni groups has intensified after weeks of anti-government protests.
Fresh clashes in Yemen between rebels and government allies has claimed over 20 lives on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The fighting occurred in the al-Jawf province, in the northeast of the capital Sanaa.
There has also been reports of shelling in Shamlan northwest of Sanaa, with government forces launching airstrikes against the Houthi rebels.
