Libya: At least 21 killed in clashes between Zintan nationalist militia and Kekla islamist militia
Sources of a hospital in Libya have told reporters on Sunday that at least 21 people have been killed, and that more than 60 other people have been wounded during tribal clashes that had taken place towards the west of Libya’s capital city of Tripoli over the weekend.
According to the witnesses, the nationalist militia which come from Zintan, the hill town that lies towards the southwest of the national capital of Tripoli had launched an attack on Kekla, the town that lies next to it, which has proclaimed its support for their rivals, the Fajr Libya (Libya Dawn), which is led by Islamists.
