Algeria: 5 terrorists killed by army in Lakhdaria

Ukraine: Separatists claim 3 civilians killed in Donetsk shelling

Pro-Russian separatists claim that shelling has killed three people in the rebel-held city of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine.

The rebel-controlled Donetsk city hall said in a statement on October 11 that “as a result of military actions in Donetsk on October 10 three civilians died and four more were injured and hospitalized.”

Syria: Fierce clashes between YPG kurds forces and ISIS gangs in south and east Kobane

As ISIS gangs are continuing to attack the Kobanê town of West Kurdistan with all their forces, and the YPG forces are bravely resisting attacks for weeks now, fighting has intensified on the eastern and southern fronts in the evening, on the 25th day of the historic resistance.

According to the reports provided by ANHA (Hawar News Agency) correspondents on the ground, fierce fighting is continuing in many areas as YPG forces are repulsing the concentrated attacks gangs have been launching with reinforcements and heavy weapons for the last three days.

Egypt: Army offensive kills 16 Ansar Beit al-Maqdis militants in Sinai

Egyptian military officials say troops have killed 16 members of an al-Qaeda-inspired militant group in the restive Sinai Peninsula.

The officials say four leading members of Ansar Beit al-Maqdis were arrested during the operations, which were still underway early Tuesday.

Yemen: 47 protesters and 19 soldiers killed in two attacks, suspected al-Qaeda militants

Two bomb attacks in Yemen Thursday killed 47 protesters in the capital Sana’a and 19 troops at a checkpoint in the far south-east, state news agency Saba reported.

The attack in the capital targeted a protest held by the Houthi Shiite rebel movement, with Houthi officials saying several children were among the victims.
