Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) on Sunday announced that its fighters and allied tribesmen in Rada’a city and surrounding villages in Al-Baida governorate carried out six attacks against Houthis on Saturday and Sunday.
AQAP posted on its Twitter page on Sunday that its fighters targeted a Houthi vehicle in Hamat Bani Sarar village of Rada’a earlier that day and killed all members on board. AQAP failed to provide the specific number of casualties.

About 100 people were slaughtered last week in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the latest massacres to shake the restive region, regional deputies told AFP on Monday.
The carnage took place on Thursday near the town of Beni in the North Kivu province, where mainly Muslim Ugandan rebels have been blamed for killing more than 200 civilians in gruesome attacks since October.

Egyptian military forces have killed 10 militants during an operation in the violence-plagued Sinai Peninsula of the North African country.
Army spokesman, Brigadier General Mohamed Samir, stated on Sunday that the militants were killed in an exchange of fire with Egyptian soldiers as they tried to attack a military checkpoint in the area on Saturday.

Iraqi soldiers backed by Sunni fighters launched a major operation Saturday to retake a section of the city of Ramadi seized by Islamic State terrorists, an official and residents said.
The fighting focused on Ramadi’s eastern Sijariya neighborhood, which the extremist group said it captured Friday.

The National Intelligence Service of Kenya NIS and the Kenya Defense Forces have conducted a synchronized operation killing and destroying the terror cell that killed 28 people in Mandera bus attack today at 11.00 AM East African time.
Intelligence reports confirm a coordinated air raid is bieng conducted by Kenya Defense Forces fighter aircraft’s inside Somalia mid-morning Saturday in response to the Mandera bus attack.
