A female suicide bomber thought to be just 10 years old has blown herself up in a crowded market in Nigeria, as the US condemns a bloody spike in Boko Haram violence.
At least 19 people were killed at the Monday Market in the Borno State capital, Maiduguri, at about 12:40pm local time when it was packed with shoppers and traders.

Dozens of ISIS terrorists were killed on Saturday in shelling and battles in Anbar province west of the country, according to officials.
Most of the dead were killed by air strikes launched by the international coalition led by the United States aircraft, prompting the organization to open an internal investigation with its members, according to an Iraqi security official.

Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) took responsibility on Friday for the attack on the Paris satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.
A statement provided to the Associated Press said “the leadership of AQAP directed the operations and they have chosen their target carefully.”
