Afghanistan: 32 rebels killed in nationwide military offensives
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a media statement issued on Saturday said that security forces conducted military offensives in Laghman, Kunduz, Faryab, Uruzgan, Paktika and Helmand provinces.
The statement added that security forces killed 32 insurgents, wounded 11 and arrested 12 others.
“Police also defused 13 roadside bombs planted by militants in Nangarhar and Kandahar provinces,” it said.
Security forces frequently launched clearance operations in militancy infested areas.
