Tunisia: At least 8 killed in Tunisia museum attack
At least seven foreigners and a Tunisian national were killed in a shooting attack at the country’s leading museum Wednesday, the country’s Interior ministry said.
Government spokesman Mohamed Ali Aroui said on the private Radio Mosaique FM station that only one of the dead was a Tunisian, and did not provide nationalities for the others, the Associated Press reported.
There were unconfirmed reports that some of the tourists killed may be from Spain. Separate reports circulating on social media showed what appeared to be Tunisian security forces inside the museum.
