The campus siege at Garissa University has ended, Interior Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery announced that 147 people died however independent sources confirmed 152 were killed including the four alleged terrorists.
80 people were wounded in the Thursday attack and those in critical condition airlifted to Nairobi for further treatment. Others are receiving treatment at Garissa Level Five Hospital.

Foreign troops of unknown nationality are disembarking at the Yemeni port of Aden, port authorities and witnesses told Reuters. The task force is said to number ‘dozens’.
Saudi Arabian forces, joined by nine other countries, launched a military operation in Yemen against Shiite Houthi rebels in March.

The death toll of people killed after gunmen attacked Garissa University College in northeast Kenya on Thursday morning has risen to 15.
Kenya Red Cross officials said at least 65 people, including two policemen were injured by the attackers and have been rushed to hospital.

Islamic State militants have reportedly taken over large parts of a Palestinian refugee camp in Damascus on Wednesday, and are fighting with a group inside the camp.
This is the deepest incursion yet by ISIS militants into the Syrian capital. If they gain control of the Yarmouk camp, they can threaten President Bashar Assad’s seat of power.
“Fighters from ISIS launched an assault this morning on Yarmouk and they took over the majority of the camp,” said Anwar Abdel Hadi, director of political affairs for the Palestine Liberation Organization in Damascus.

Security forces have shot two assailants during an attack on the police headquarters in Istanbul in which two policemen were injured, Doğan News Agency reported on April 1.
The assailants opened fire on police stationed at the entrance of the building in Istanbul’s Fatih district with long-barreled weapons, the report said.
