Yemen: The Saudi-led coalition targets the special security headquarters in Sana’a
At least 30 people were killed and more than 100 people were injured this morning due to explosions in the center of the capital, Sana’a, according to a source from the Ministry of Health.
The huge explosions rocked the capital Sana’a as the Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched new strikes on Houthi military targets. The air raids targeted the Special Security camp, formerly known as the Central Security located in the center of the city.
Locals said that they have seen a number of ambulances going into the area to transport the wounded to the nearest hospitals.
A nurse in Al Sabeen Hospital located close to Special Security camp said, “ We felt the hospital was shaking, people were panicking, the explosion was huge and those injured are still being admitted to the hospital.”
