Ukraine’s army on Wednesday accused pro-Russian forces of launching a new attack against its positions in breach of a brittle ceasefire, with at least one civilian killed and several others wounded in the fresh clashes.
Fighting has intensified around key hotspots on the frontline in eastern Ukraine and the latest violence revived fears that pro-Russian separatists may be readying for a new advance against Kiev forces.

Boko Haram terrorists have launched a fresh attack on Maiduguri, Borno State following a weekend onslaught which was repelled by troops.
The insurgents were said to have arrived in the Moronti area of the city by river early on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, but were unable to gain entry due to ditches created by soldiers around the area.

ONLF captured 6 Ethiopian allied paramilitary unit known as Special (Liyuu) police on Thursday. In the last fighting, one of ONLF fighters from Storm (Duufaan) unit was wounded and suffered a minor injury, according to ONLF fighter and residents
The Clash occurred in the town of La’biga, in the Degahbur region.

At least 50 people were killed and scores injured in week-long border clashes between Somali clan militia and an Ethiopian paramilitary unit, Somali authorities said on Monday.
Most of the victims were civilians caught in the week-long fighting between the Somali militia and the Ethiopian force known as “Liyu police”, Xinhua quoted Somalia’s Galgadud region Governor Hussein Weheliye Cirfo as saying.
