A Tunisian border guard was killed in a firefight with a group of Islamists. The battle occurred on the Algerian border, and left an additional three guards wounded.
Only a few days ago a Tunisian police officer was shot to death by two assassins on a motorcycle. Authorities have not yet decided whether to classify the killing as a terror attack.
