The Iraqi forces took control of the Sufia region located in the east of Ramadi city. “Armenpress” reports citing Arabic media that 35 terrorists were killed during the military operations, some others fled by Euphrates River.
One of the commanders of the armed forced of Anbar Province mentioned that they are advancing to liberate other regions of the province. He also informed that terrorists of the “Islamic State” have been also killed in the al-Jazira region.

Yemeni pro-government fighters have retaken full control of the strategic al-Anad airbase in the southern province of Lahj from Shiite rebels, the Defence Ministry said.
“Lahj province has … been freed of Houthi rebels,” a top commander of the fighters loyal to exiled president Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi told dpa on condition of anonymity.

India’s government has signed a peace deal with a leading Naga separatist group, bringing to an end one of the country’s oldest insurgencies.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the accord between his government and the National Socialist Council of Nagaland as “historic”.

Armed men staged an attack on an army post in a northern Mali village early Monday, killing at least 10 soldiers, a resident said.
The attackers came on motorcycles around 5 a.m. into Gourma-Rharouss, about 160 kilometers (100 miles) southeast of of the northern city of Timbuktu, said resident Moussa Cisse.

The Nigerian Air Force, NAF, on Sunday said its fighter jets successfully combined with ground troops to repel the latest Boko Haram attack on Bita village in Borno State.
This is confirmed in a statement issued by the Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF Headquarters, Air Commodore Dele Alonge.
