The Iraqi army along with volunteer forces have managed to fully liberate the strategic northern city of Baiji from the control of the ISIL Takfiri terrorists, media reports said.
According to a report by Arabic news channel Al-Sumaria, the Iraqi army issued a statement on Tuesday announcing the full liberation of the strategic city from the grip of the Takfiri militants.

The Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) declared a six-month cessation of hostilities and expressed readiness to negotiate the details of this truce with the government ahead of peace talks.
The unilateral decision was endorsed during a meeting of the SRF groups in Paris from 13-17 October. But it was officially released on Sunday as the discussions were dominated by the controversial transfer of chairmanship.

During the past three days, the Syrian government launched an attack against the rebels in the southern areas of the city of Aleppo. According to an activist, approximately 70,000 Syrians fled the southern parts of Aleppo due to this offensive.
This is the most recent attack to have been carried out within the past two weeks, with the Syrian government having the support of Russian air strikes.

A battalion of 300 troops from the North African country of Sudan arrived in Yemen’s port city of Aden in support of Saudi-led coalition forces battling Houthi rebels, Reuters reported Sunday.
A military source speaking with Reuters said the battalion, comprised of 300 soldiers and officers, arrived in Aden by sea Saturday to “help maintain security for the city against the Houthis and Saleh,” referring to former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Russia’s National Anti-terrorism Committee says security forces have killed at least four militants during clashes in the Republic of Dagestan, APA reports quoting Press TV.
The committee said in a statement issued on Saturday that Russian security forces engaged the militants in a shootout in the Khasavyurt region of Dagestan, which borders the Chechen Republic, commonly referred to as Chechnya.
