One Ukrainian soldier was killed in the past 24 hours, and five others were wounded, according to Ukraine’s presidential military spokesman Andriy Lysenko.
“The enemy shelled our positions near the village of Bolotene in Luhansk region using 82mm mortars. The enemy was found, the group suffered casualties and retreated after a 30-minute fight,” he said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday.
