Three security personnel were killed in a roadside bomb blast in Warghara area of Tiarza tehsil in South Waziristan tribal region on Sunday.
Intelligence sources said the personnel were patrolling the area when an improvised explosive device placed by the road exploded. One soldier died on the spot and three others suffered critical injuries.

The Kurdish-Arab alliance of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have reported new gains in the south and south-eastern suburbs of Hasakah, northeast Syria, at the expense of the extremist group of Islamic State (ISIS), local activists reported on Saturday.
The joint forces had announced an extended military campaign to liberate the entire province Hasakah three weeks ago. Since then, the SDF has recaptured large areas across the province amid an unprecedented decline by ISIS.

Somali Govt troops and their allied African Union troops have repelled an al-Shabaab attack after heavily armed militants attacked their convoy near Wajid town, south of Bakol region.
The confrontation broke out Saturday morning when the militants with al-Shabaab waylaid the allied troops while conducting a security patrol in the villages nearby Wajid town, reports said.

At least 10 people were killed and dozens more injured in a suicide bomb attack by suspected members of Nigerian Islamist militant group Boko Haram, security sources have said.
The attack happened in the far north region of Cameroon, and is the latest deadly attack in the region as Boko Haram militants target the country along with Chad, Niger and Nigeria.

The district chief of Achin, Haji Ghalib, said that the insurgents attacked security check post in Abdul Khel area. In retaliation, security forces killed a dozen Daesh militants and wounded several others.
He said the clash lasted for several hours in which three security personnel sustained injuries.
