Sudan: Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N) rebels claim killing 16 government troops in Blue Nile State
In an attack carried out on a Sudanese army unit in the Blue Nile state on Wednesday, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement -North (SPLM-N) fighters claimed killing 16 government soldiers.
In a statement issued on Wednesday evening, the SPLM-N official spokesperson Arnu Ngutulu Lodi said the ambush took place in Alyarmuk seven km south Bot town.
Lodi said the ’’preventive attack’’ aimed to destroy the potential threat of the government troops and to abort attacks on civilians in the area.
