The US military targeted a training camp run by the Somali Islamist group al-Shabaab over the weekend, the Pentagon announced on Monday, killing more than 150 people.
“It was a successful strike,” said Pentagon spokesperson Captain Jeff Davis, revealing that the drone had destroyed “Raso Camp,” located roughly 120 miles north of Mogadishu.

Dozens of Islamist fighters stormed through the Tunisian town of Ben Guerdan near the Libyan border on Monday, attacking army and police posts in a raid that killed at least 53 people, including civilians, the government and residents said.
Local television broadcast images of soldiers and police crouched in doorways and on rooftops as gunshots echoed in the center of the town. Bodies of dead militants lay in the streets near the military barracks after the army regained control.

At least 13 people, including two police officers and two children, were killed in a suicide attack Monday in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police said.
More than a dozen other people were injured in the attack in the Charsadda District.

Troops have intensified efforts of clearing remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in some hideouts in the North Eastern part of the country.

A Sudanese army field commander has announced, on Saturday, the readiness of the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) to launch summer military operations in South Kordofan State, after the arrival of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to Kadugli, the state capital.
Speaking to the RSF militiamen that arrived in Kadugli Saturday, SAF 14th Infantry Division Commander, General Yasir Atta said that the military operations will target all the rebel controlled areas after the failure of peace talks.
