Afghanistan: Over 200 militants killed and wounded in Afghan forces air and ground raids
At least 234 militants were killed or wounded in the latest raids of the Afghan National Security Forces in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) said at least 110 militants were killed, 124 militants were wounded and 13 others were arrested during the operations.
A statement by MoD said at least 4 foreign insurgents, a militants commander and a shadow district governor were among those killed or wounded.
The statement further added that 21 militants including a commander of the group identified as Qari Noorullah were killed with 4 foreigners in Aqcha district of Jawzjan province and 33 others including the group’s district shadow governor Qari Hafizullah were wounded.
