Yemen: Islamic State (IS) attack kills at least 40 military recruits in Aden
A suicide car bombing claimed by the Islamic State (IS) killed at least 40 army recruits and injured 60 others in the Yemeni city of Aden on Monday, medics said, in one of the deadliest attacks yet on the beleaguered government.
The attack occurred as the recruits lined up to enlist for military service at the home of a senior general in the Khor Maksar district of Aden, officials said.

Isis claimed a series of bombings in two Syrian regime bastion cities on Monday, killing more than 140 people.

Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has announced the launching of an offensive to retake the city of Fallujah after the military told residents yesterday to get ready to leave before fighting started.

India: 6 Assam Rifles personnel killed by Coordination Committee (CorCom) militants in Chandel district
Six 29 Assam Rifles personnel were killed in an ambush laid by militants in Manipur’s Chandel district near the Indo-Myanmar border.
