The US led coalition which is stepping up their crackdown on ISIS in Iraq have reportedly dealt a massive blow to the dreaded terror outfit.
The coalition air strikes around the city of Fallujah, one of the places where a fierce battle is taking place, have left around 250 ISIS fighters dead, Reuters news agency quoting US officials reported.

Heavy fighting between the pro-Saudi forces and the Shi’ite Houthis in Yemen over the past 24 hours left at least 80 people dead nationwide, one of the single deadliest days of fighting in months, and a sign that the crumbling peace process is no longer restraining fighters on either side.
The largest death toll was in an airstrike by the Saudi military, which killed 34 people in Taiz in a target on a Shi’ite controlled area. 19 civilians were among the slain, according to reports from the area.

At least 36 people were killed, 147 injured Tuesday in a triple suicide bombing and gun attack at Istanbul’s main Atatürk airport, in the latest deadly strike to rock Turkey’s most-populated city.
The assessments show that 3 suicide bombers carried out the attacks in 3 different spots at the airport, Istanbul Governor Vasip Şahin said in a statement released after the attack.

At least 43 people were killed in fighting between armed groups and government forces around the northwest South Sudanese town of Wau last week, a government official said on Tuesday.
Thousands fled the clashes in the world’s newest country, still hit by violence almost five years after securing its independence from former civil war foe Sudan, and months after a peace deal with rebels inside its own borders.

The combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 36 times in the past 24 hours, including 17 times in the Mariupol sector, 15 times in the Donetsk sector and four times in the Luhansk sector, according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
“In the Mariupol sector, Ukrainian strongholds near Maryinka, Novotroitske and Hranitne were attacked with small arms, and near Maryinka also with BMP weapons. At dusk, militants stepped up their attacks, which continued till midnight, firing at Ukrainian positions near Starohnativka and Taramchuk with machine guns and grenade launchers. Additionally, they used mortars of various calibers to attack near Vodiane, Talakivka and Chermalyk,” a statement reads.
