Syria: Save the Children maternity hospital in Idlib bombarded
At least two people have been killed and three others wounded after an airstrike hit a maternity hospital supported by Save the Children is north-western Syria.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), a UK-based monitor, said airstrikes hit the hospital and also a civil defence building.
The hospital is situated in a rebel-held area of Idlib province. According to reports, the hospital was the only maternity facility for about 70 miles and worked with about 1,300 women and children a month. 340 babies were delivered last month.
