The public face of Islamic State’s worldwide propaganda campaign and the commander responsible for the organization’s attacks against Europe and elsewhere has been killed, the terror group announced Tuesday.
Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, a founding members of the brutal jihadi movement, was killed in northern Syria’s Aleppo province, according to a tweet sent out by the Amaq Agency, the group’s online propaganda operation.

The Burma Army and the Shan State Progress Party/Shan State Army-North (SSPP/SSA-N) clashed in northern Shan State on Sunday evening, just days before the start of the Union Peace Conference.
Fighting broke out as the Burma Army’s Light Infantry Battalions No. 33 and 147 marched toward the SSA-N’s Loilem outpost in Mongyang Township’s Tangyan village tract, but there were no casualties, said Major Sai Hsu, an SSPP/SSA-N spokesperson.

Fresh clashes have emerged in Donbass in Ukraine’s east resulting in the death of two Ukrainian soldiers.
The Ukrainian military have claimed that pro-Russia paramilitaries violated the peace agreement on Sunday by shelling Ukrainian-held areas.

A suicide car bomb attack on an army training camp in Yemen’s second city of Aden killed at least 60 people on Monday.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack.
A security official told AFP that the attacker drove his vehicle into a gathering of new recruits at the camp in northern Aden.

Eighteen fighters loyal to Libya’s UN-backed unity government were killed and 120 others wounded in clashes today with the so-called Islamic State group in Sirte, a medical source said.
A field hospital for the forces backing the Government of National Accord (GNA) listed the names of the 18 fighters killed in the coastal city, as loyalist forces pushed into the last areas held by IS in Sirte.
