Ukraine: Fresh clashes erupt in Donbass, 2 Ukrainian soldiers killed
Fresh clashes have emerged in Donbass in Ukraine’s east resulting in the death of two Ukrainian soldiers.
The Ukrainian military have claimed that pro-Russia paramilitaries violated the peace agreement on Sunday by shelling Ukrainian-held areas.
“Over the past 24 hours, as a result of fighting, we lost two of our servicemen while another four soldiers were wounded,” Ukrainian military spokesman, Andriy Lysenko, said without elaborating on the location where the soldiers had perished.
Last week three Ukrainian soldiers were also killed when more than 500 mortar and 300 artillery shells were fired at Ukrainian positions.
