At least 60 people were killed Saturday by a car bomb attack in Aleppo’s opposition-held Azaz district in northwestern Syria, according to a pro-opposition Syrian civil defense official.
An explosive-laden vehicle blew up in front of a local court in the center of Azaz, Iyad Sheikh Razuk told to Anadolu Agency.

According to Tasnim news agency, one of IRGC forces was martyred in the attack and three others were injured.
The attack was carried out at 11:30 local time, as armed men tried to cross the border into Iran.
Majid Aqa Babaei, director of the Interior Ministry department for border affairs, said the terrorists were pushed back by Iranian forces and could not achieve their evil goals.

Gunfire has erupted at a military camp in the western Ivory Coast town of Daloa, a resident and an army source said, hours after demobilised soldiers took control of Bouake, the West African nation’s second-largest city.
Unrest also erupted in the city of Korhogo, according to The Associated Press news agency.

Kurdish PKK militants were behind a car bombing outside a courthouse that killed two people in the Turkish city of Izmir, a governor said.
Provincial governor Erol Ayyildiz said a “clash erupted” after officers stopped a vehicle at a police checkpoint in front of Bayrakli courthouse.

More than 150 inmates of the provincial jail here escaped when suspected Muslim rebels stormed the facility in a pre-dawn raid yesterday, killing one guard, authorities said.
A two-hour firefight broke out when more than 100 armed men, believed to be members of the extremist Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF), attacked the jail at about 1 a.m., according to jail authorities.
