Turkish security forces have killed three militants of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in clashes in the eastern province of Tunceli, security sources stated on Feb. 16.
Sources, speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to media, said the operation against the PKK in Tunceli’s Pülümür district began on Feb. 11 and ended on Feb. 16.

Fleeing Boko Haram Terrorists (BHT) fighters on Monday invaded Mifa community in Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State, killing an Islamic scholar and breaking the hands of an unnamed boy.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to The Nation, the incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. when about 30 Boko Haram terrorists entered the village and began shooting indiscriminately.

The battles involved Tahrir al-Sham, formerly an al-Qaeda affiliate, and Jund al-Aqsa, regarded as close to so-called Islamic State (IS).

At least 14 people, including DIG Traffic Ahmed Mobeen, were killed and over 100 wounded in a deadly suicide bombing outside the Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Monday, policemen and rescuers said.
The bomber, who came on a motorbike, detonated his suicide vest next to a DSNG van at Charing Cross on Lahore’s Mall Road at around 6:10 pm targeting the site of a protest, where negotiations were going on between protesting pharmacists and DIG Traffic Lahore Capt (r) Ahmad Mobin, police officials said.

Kurdish female fighters of the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) on Monday clashed with Turkish Army forces near the town of Amude, in Syria’s northeastern Hasakah Governorate.
The clashes followed an attempt by the Turkish military troops to enter the Kurdish territory in northeastern Syria, where Turkey continues to build a concrete wall alongside the borderline.
