Nigeria: Army intensifies attacks on Boko Haram terrorist group
The Nigerian Army on Monday says its troops have intensified its routine security operations in an attempt to flush out the remnants of Boko Haram members from Northeast.
The Army in a statement signed by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Usman, gave account of the troops achievement so far.
According to him, the troops of 145 Task Force Battalion apprehended a suspected Boko Haram terrorist, Auta Abdullahi who tried to enter the country from Niger Republic.
Although he denied his involvement with the terrorist group, preliminary investigation confirmed his membership with the group.
