Four Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in Russia’s war against Ukraine in Donbas during the last day, Ukrainian military press office reports on March 18.

The leader of the National Salvation Front (NAS), a new rebel group, wants South Sudan’s peace process to be re-started.
Lt. Gen. Thomas Cirillo Swaka, in a letter addressed to the Joint Monitoring and Evaluation claimed the peace process initiated after August 2015 “has clearly failed, resulting in the current tragedy”.
The Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services reported that 48 clashes between the government army and insurgent Myanmar Nationalities Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) so far had claimed lives of some officers and other ranks.
According to a press release, a 300-strong group of the MNDAA spread out and simultaneously attacked the military and police outposts in Yanlonkyaing, Kokang Traffic Police office in Laukkai, the house of U Wai Hsan, who is member of the Kokang Self-Administered Zone’s leading body.
The Syrian Army units, aided by the Syrian air force and in cooperation with the supporting forces, thwarted an ISIL terrorist attack on the axes of the eastern direction of Deir Ezzor city.
Forces led by renegade Libyan General Khalifa Haftar are claiming to have recaptured two key Mediterranean oil installations in eastern Libya, after both sites were seized by an Islamist-led force early this month.
Libya broke into rival political and armed factions in 2011 after the government of longtime ruler Moammar Gadhafi was toppled and Gadhafi was killed. Two rival governments and a host of local militia are currently battling for control of the oil-rich country.
