The Nigerian Army on Monday says its troops have intensified its routine security operations in an attempt to flush out the remnants of Boko Haram members from Northeast.
The Army in a statement signed by the Director Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Sani Usman, gave account of the troops achievement so far.

At least 31 Taliban militants were killed in a military operation carried out by security forces in southern Helmand province in past 24 hours, local officials said on Sunday.
Nine other insurgents were wounded in the operation, the officials added.

France24 TV channel has reported that the forces of Operation Dignity under the command of Khalifa Haftar are mobilizing for a decisive battle at oil crescent.
According to the channel, the battle will aim at retaking control of the oil terminals they had lost for Benghazi Defence Brigades (BDB) last week.

Thousands of people including locals and migrant workers have fled clashes between the Burma Army and the Northern Alliance in Laukkai, the administrative capital of the ethnic Kokang region of Shan State.
People have been fleeing the area since renewed clashes broke out on March 6. More than 20,000 have reportedly fled to border camps in China, and more than 2,000 arrived in Mandalay on Thursday after taking shelter in Man Su Monastery in Lashio, according to U Pinna Nanda, the abbot of the monastery.
