Clashes and air strikes in southwest Yemen have killed more than 40 soldiers, rebels and civilians over the past 24 hours, officials and medics said on Monday.
Warplanes from the Saudi-led Arab coalition have pounded Houthi rebel positions east of the Red Sea port of Mokha and other areas of Taiz province since Sunday, a military official said.

ISIS claimed responsibility for bombings that killed 43 at two Coptic churches in Egypt on Palm Sunday — brazen strikes against a vulnerable minority on one of the most important days on the Christian calendar.
In a statement issued on the Telegram messaging platform and circulated by several ISIS supporters, the militant group identified the suicide bombers as Egyptian nationals. Egyptian authorities have not confirmed the bombers’ nationalities.

At least 35 people were killed and scores injured after explosions in two different Egyptian cities at Coptic Christian churches Sunday.
The interior ministry said one of the explosions was a bombing in Mar Gerges church in Tanta, a city in the north of Egypt in the Nile Delta, located between Cairo and Alexandria. The church was full at the time with worshippers observing Coptic Christian Palm Sunday.

ISIS gangs in Tabqa city which is besieged by SDF have launched heavy attacks to break the circle laid around them. While the attacks were repelled, dozens of ISIS members were killed in clashes.
ISIS gangs launched intensified attacks on the area between east and north of the Tabqa city and the Euphrates Dam Friday morning. The attacks that continued into last night have been repelled by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The Basque separatist group ETA has given the French police a list of 12 arms caches in southwestern France under its unilateral initiative to disarm, informed sources told AFP on Saturday.
The caches are located in the departments, or counties, of the Gers, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Hautes-Pyrénées, they said. The French interior ministry said that the so-called “Disarmament Day” was “incontestably important” and a “major step”.
