Pakistan: 3 killed in new round of Pakistan and India border clashes
Two Pakistani civilians and an Indian soldier were killed in new round of clashes between the border forces of Pakistan and India along the two sides of disputed Kashmir region on Tuesday.
This is the third consecutive day of clashes between the two sides.
Pakistani Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria tweeted that two civilians were killed and six others were injured during “unprovoked” firing and shelling by suspected Indian border forces at two different sectors along the Line of Control — a de facto border that divides the disputed Himalayan valley between the two nuclear rivals.
Zakaria alleged that Indian border forces were targeting civilians, calling it “condemnable”.
