Yemen: Army takes control of strategic heights in Saada
The forces from the Yemeni Army managed to take control of a number of highlands where the militias were based in Baqim district, north of Saada governorate - a stronghold of the Houthis.
According to field sources, the elite forces that were formed from the 102nd Brigade and the 63rd Infantry Brigade, launched a large-scale attack on the Directorate of Baqim from three days.
After fierce battles with the militias, they succeeded in controlling the north-west of the Khashm and Namsa east, while cutting off militia supply lines in areas from the Sobhan to Baqam.
