Iraq: 6 killed in ISIS militants attack, clashes in Iraq
Six people were killed in clashes and a Daesh attack in northern and western Iraq on Wednesday, according to security officials.
Four bombers attacked a police station in al-Ishaqiya in the northern Saladin province, triggering clashes with security forces, police lieutenant Numan al-Jubouri said.
“The four attackers were shot dead by police, while two policemen were injured in the attack,” he said.
A few days ago, Daesh had lost the eastern part of Shirqat district, the terrorist group’s last stronghold in Saladin province.
Meanwhile, two police personnel were killed in clashes with Daesh militants on the outskirts of the western Ramadi city.
