Turkish warplanes bombed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) positions in northern Kurdistan Region areas near the Turkish border on Sunday, the Turkish military said.
The Turkish jets hit a number of targets in northern Iraq’s Zap, Mount Qandil, Sinat-Haftanin, Gara and Hakurk regions in northern Kurdistan Region, the Turkish General Staff said on Monday, state-run Anadolu Agency said.
Turkish Air Force has repeatedly bombarded Asos Mountain in northern Sulaymaniyah province of the Kurdistan Region over the past two weeks.
