Two Burmese military fighter jets again dropped bombs on KIA positions at Dawi Post and Chyahkya Bum in Danai Township on Jan 31 at 2:13 pm.

Similarly, two fighter jets dropped bombs on Hka Shang and Hka Chyang Hku in Mansi Township in southern Kachin state on the same day at around 3:20 pm.

Battles continue to rage between KIA’s 14th Battalion troops and Burmese army troops at Jam Bu Bum in Danai Township on Jan 31 beginning 7:20 am.

On Jan 30, Burmese army troops launched an attack on KIA’s Dawi post in Chanta Kone in Danai Township at around 9 am. The two sides fought for five hours, reported a KIA frontline source.
